Hello, and welcome!
My name is Connie Ziccarelli and I am the founder of Guidepost Consultants & Mentoring. I’m so excited to bring 30 years of healthcare business experience in owning, operating, and growing successful outpatient, private practices to you. I have been fortunate to have made my career in the business aspect of medicine. I have implemented excellent business practices that paralleled excellent clinical care and it is with that mindset that I have been apart of launching many practices and improved existing ones. If you own a healthcare business or you are an administrator, then we need to be on this journey together. My passion is to work alongside healthcare entrepreneurs & professionals that want their business not only to survive in a David and Goliath world but to thrive and make a difference in the communities and the patients they serve.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work in some of the best specializations in healthcare, these include; physical and occupational therapy, high-risk Obstetrics and Genetics, Cardiology, Otolaryngology, and Psychology. I have met and partnered with so many smart, fun, and passionate doctors, therapists, and administrators and now I look forward to partnering with you!
Here are my big “WHYS” of what I do:

- Small hinges swing big doors, and with a solid Revenue Cycle Management, the small and effective tweaks can have a huge impact on the bottom-line.
- Without an engaged team, your business will not be set up to WIN with Teambuilding Activities, Continuing Education, and Mentoring your practice will have renewed energy
I started with the dream of becoming a physician, during college, the pre-med curriculum was exciting and hard. When you hear that organic chemistry is the “weeder” for many pre-med programs, believe it because it happened to me. I didn’t give up on my passion for healthcare and I knew I still wanted to take care of patients. So it was off to business school with a focus on Administration. As it turned out, that was exactly what was supposed to happen. I’m enjoying a career where I serve patients in a way that meets them where they are struggling; understanding the aspects of insurance billing and navigating through repayment solutions. I lend my business acumen to clinical owners so they spend less time on administrative tasks thus focusing their time on healing patients and looking for new business opportunities. During my career, I’ve had the opportunity to lead many employees both clinical and non-clinical and I thoroughly enjoy mentoring and watching teams grow and thrive. I’m so grateful to have found my niche and now I want to serve even more healthcare professionals in taking their careers to a new horizon in outpatient private practice.
